Finally, I've been able to watch the video... thanks!!
... and that disco music from 15 years ago that at first is disturbing and then becomes adorable, lovely...

Perhaps it is logical that there may be some incompatibility between your current MQB MFSW buttons (1), your SKodi Rapid instrument cluster(2), and your 'old' BCM/GW High version (3) that the CCEmulator is not able to resolve (at the moment 🤔).

Physically installing the BCM Max you have (090C) without any wiring modifications/adaptations, using the current BCM and GW coding, will take the same 0.5 seconds as installing a 2015--> BCM High. Everything will work just as well as before, although there will be some faults detected in the autoscan, and warning lights and messages on the instrument cluster... nothing major for a 2010 6R. 😁 I would do it... then, over time, I would fix all the faults... post the process here if you get stuck at any point.

So, for starters, I don't have to add wires to the auxiliary meter or the reversing light or anything like that? And the song was randomly playing 🤭

Initially, you don't need to do any wiring, just install the BCM 7E0 'there's no point in keeping it stored', ....everything will work fine with the current coding BCM 087. As you go, you'll troubleshoot by wiring the lights and modifying the coding to clear related diagnostic faults. It's simple, just do it.

Note:
Once you install the BCM 7E0 according to Ross-Tech, check that adaptation channels 53 and 54 have a value of '0' (not 1). ... before you ask us/me why your high beams don't work.

---
Sure, it's much better that the Hurts song was random just the moment you took the video... without premeditation or intentions, 'fantastic'. :)

You're the best 🤭😉 I'll call you tomorrow, I'll have my BCM connected. You're a real joker 😋

Hi, I connected the new BCM 090 C, but the MFSW and the instrument cluster don't work.

Okay, I overlooked the fact that you need to connect two new CAN BUS communication wires between the new BCM 7E0 and the instrument cluster. I took it for granted because it's so essential that I didn't think it needed mentioning. I apologize for this oversight.🙏🤭

The NEW CAN BUS wires are connected as follows:
- T73b/54 to T32/28 ... CAN High (remove and insulate the original T32/28).
- T73b/57 to T32/29 ... CAN Low (remove and insulate the original T32/29).

Do not cut any wires or terminals, we will need them later to continue building your small rocket.

I got it wrong, sorry about that 😅 Luckily, I’m in luck — my rocket already has wires 28 and 29 plugged into the instrument cluster connector, so all I need to do now is repin the BCM connector and everything should work.
I’ll also send you how everything is currently wired in my Polo according to the VW wiring diagram. I’ll finish the rest of the work when it gets warmer, because doing this stuff at −1°C isn’t much fun 😄
Cheers and have a great weekend! 🍻🚀

It is necessary to REMOVE/INSULATE the CAN BUS wires from your instrument cluster, they belong to the CAN BUS powertrain and are not suitable for the 7E0 BCM/GW to manage the systems (as you have already verified).

With the BCM 7E0 and PQ25 platform (2008*, 7H0*, **), a new, higher-speed CAN bus line was created/used for communication with the instrument panel and other systems.
Do what I've told you and don't try anything different. I was the first in the world to do this 100% perfectly (2015-2016) on a 6R, I made many installation guides for BCM 7E0 adaptation.

In my human disclaimer 😋, I forgot to tell you about the new CAN communication lines because I was too busy with, a Porsche Cayenne S hybrid, an Arteon SB GTE, a 12K PDC system, Special LED headlights, several complex programs 🔥, several codings... all in the same time frame. A real madhouse! 🤦‍♂️😄

Ok, I understand — I’ll do exactly as you say. And then what’s next, what should I start playing with? 🤭
By the way, are you a mechatronics specialist or self-taught? I can imagine there’s a lot more fun with toys like these compared to a Polo 🤭😅

The next thing is what you decide to do based on your feelings.

I'm just a small-time enthusiast with great friends, with half my brain dedicated to technology as my main 'hobby', the other half is only activated for human basic functions... in a medium-level. 😄
Besides my 6R thread, I have another custom thread on the forum, which has led me to play and have fun in other stellar universes... those things that usually happen.

Hey Master Ciclo, quick question — would switching from Climatic A/C to Climatronic in a 2009 Polo be a big hassle in my case? My air conditioning has a mind of its own and it’s seriously starting to annoy me… and my fiancée too 😒 One moment it’s blowing, the next it’s not. Any tips?

Quick response.😄

Easy  https://polo.blue/swap-manual-climatic- ... on-theory/ -five parts- ... (CNK 🤗).
The most common reported fault is a failure of resistor -N24-.🤷‍♂️

Tip 2: Emotional partners are usually demanding when it comes to heating and air conditioning... you should keep in mind that they may make an important decision incorrectly because they don't have the right temperature at the right time.

already went through the CNK guide before, and I thought Climatic worked a bit differently, but if it’s the same story, then whatever.
What pisses me off the most is that I have to replace the heater panel, and every used one I can find is broken in exactly the same way as mine — the internal temperature sensor. A brand-new one from the dealer is over €250, which is just ridiculous. Converting to Climatronic will cost me way less than buying that stupid panel.
As for the BMC Max, I’ll probably tackle the install next week… assuming life doesn’t get in the way 😅

Hello, I installed BCM 7e0937090C and the two buttons on the steering wheel that I wrote about earlier still don't work.
