60/40 lowering
Anyone on here running a spring shock kit with 60/40 mm lowering ? Whats the ride quality and handling like and is there plenty of front ground clearance ? Tempted to get a kit myself....
I've been running a mk1 on a Weitec 60/40 kit with 175/50/13s on 7&8 rsls with much success; ride comfort isn't bad at all, handling more than makes up for the 895c.c. and slipping clutch (note to self; hurry up and fit the GT). Inevitably it does jar at times but then standard suspension would have a hard time in those instances. Go for it I say, my old GT lowered 40mm needed to lose some front height...
