I've been running a mk1 on a Weitec 60/40 kit with 175/50/13s on 7&8 rsls with much success; ride comfort isn't bad at all, handling more than makes up for the 895c.c. and slipping clutch (note to self; hurry up and fit the GT). Inevitably it does jar at times but then standard suspension would have a hard time in those instances. Go for it I say, my old GT lowered 40mm needed to lose some front height...

Another thought; G40s have a nice stance from the factory and look spot on (imo), they're the same height at the rear as a normal Polo but an inch lower at the front so 60/40 would be 8)

sweet... I've seen it done with 14's, some guy around me has done it. He might have even gone a bit lower than that.

its better for a FWD car to sit prouder at the front than the rear anyway isnt it?

thats what the GT2 manual says anyhow hehehe

(and real high performance RWD cars need jacking up more at the rear, so it'll squat nicely when you floor it rather than just wheelying or spinning)
