Your car is a 1.4 E i think so might not have a immobaliser, highly unlikely but possible. I got a new key at the local locksmiths for about 30 quid, VW wanted 90! The locksmith did the immobaliser chip too i think...

Just found the Key that got lost, But i think we'll get another cut for a spare.

The key thats in the picture lets you into the car and also starts it.
