Non Canbus power supply for rear parking sensors
I have fitted aftermarket rear parking sensors to my daughters 60 plate 1.2 SE, but the Canbus is obviously not giving the correct voltage for the control unit as I have tapped into the reversing light. Is there an alternate 12V power supply, such as possible standard wiring in place for rear power socket that I can use for the sensors control unit, switching through a relay off the reversing lights.

Yes, there is. If you have a 12V socket, that's easy.
Else I'd suggest the dome light.
A relay controlled by the reverse light should work, thats how my camera works

Re: Non Canbus power supply for rear parking sensors
As there is no power socket fitted in the rear of the car, could someone advise where they are located when fitted so that I can look if the wiring is fitted as standard. I would then be able to tap into it if available.

I would use a tap-a-fuse, and run the wire under the sills. Its super easy to slip a wire under.
