Hi All just wanted to share my experience of fitting LED Foglight bulbs , Did you wonder what that strange looking piece of bent wire was in the boot ? Well its to take of the fog-light surrounds and yes its hard and scary cos you so think they are gonna snap but i did mange to get it off whole after a lot of pulling and one small scratch on the paint , you also need a small torx's driver to remove the 2 screws holding the light in ! The whole job only took about 30 mins and the look is so much nicer ! The bulbs are by Cree and they have a 3 year warranty and are For CanBus so no light on the dash !
Really nice upgrade Jack! I know what I'm buying on pay day! Thanks for the post. I'll tape up the gloss bits before attacking the surrounds, I did the same on a 6R and know how difficult they are to pull off without thinking you're going to break something.
A lovely picture . If the Earth's atmosphere was totally clean the Sun would be whiter than fog lights.
hmm... supposedly the aircrafts are going direction to Europe.
Maybe a bit early to think about this, but in UK does the MOT check for front foglight function, if so, maybe they would fail the car as I don't think that any aftermarket LED bulbs are approved for use "on the road" - correct me with I'm wrong, I was going to get hold of some Philips Extremes etc to correct the colour.
