Re: 6C Blue GT BSR Remap first impressions
Super Give us a good review when its time. Maybe try some accl test. 100-200kmh (62-124mph) My former car, BMW 118d went from 150hp to 183hp with BSR remap. (Dyno tested) From 62-124mph it went from 33 seconds to 23 seconds. BSR FTW! / *L* Its funny, everyone I have talked to seems to sing BSRs pra...

Re: 6C Blue GT BSR Remap first impressions
Yeah il keep an eye on that as the torque is a lot higher. However been running remaps on VAG cars for years and never had a clutch give in with stage 1.Ricmondo wrote:Sounds like a good deal, enjoy your extra power and keep us all up to speed on gearbox bearings and clutch wear.

6C Blue GT BSR Remap first impressions (see mnain review thread)
So, I bit the bullet and ordered a PPC3 for my car, and have just loaded the map. I am coming from a DTUK box and pedal box. When programming, the car goes mental, lots of flashing lights and funny clicks, took about 9 mins to flash. First impressions are... its good. Huge amounts of torque delivere...

Re: BSR Remap now supports BLueGT 6C as well as 6R
Looks a good bit of kit, but for me its overpriced. £500 for 12bhp on my 1.2 Tsi. Revo can get it between 125-140ish for £399. I know the box allows to take map off and on but i would still want more bhp for £500 myself. Can see it being better for people with the Gt/i varients tho Whats the torque...

Re: BSR Remap now supports BLueGT 6C as well as 6R
Same price as a remap which puts me off, especially after the issues with dtuk. However if it is a map I may be tempted It is a remap. You just do it yourself. Means you can put it on and off whenever. I'm hoping it will be far more integrated than the box. People on here did warn me about boxes bu...

Re: BSR Remap now supports BLueGT 6C as well as 6R
Is this basically a new map that's uploaded? I see they do one for the 1.2 tsi. Not that impressed with my dtuk tbh and it's just sitting chucked in a box. If this is a map then it should be better as it adjust/ monitors more than the dtuk box I am in an identical boat. Think I'm going to bite the ...

BSR Remap now supports BLueGT 6C as well as 6R
The BSR remap tool a few of us were discussing now supports the 6C Blue GT as well as the 6R. They are claiming 170hp and 307 nm of torque which should be a nice increase. Think im going to order one and compare it to the DTUK box I have at the minuet. Will post up my impressions here. Used a Bluefi...

Re: 6R GTi Plug and Play Sound System
Well basicaly with the plug and play you have to use a prebaked calibration, works great for stock speakers but will not work with aftermarkets. These two graphs show my car before I calibrated it with the PP52DSP and a mic and after. I also changed the front speakers to focals. The sound is far mor...

Re: 6R GTi Plug and Play Sound System
I looked into this, and found buying a PP52DSP and match subwoofer was a much better deal.
The plug and play system is a crippled version of the above.
To fit the PP52DSP all you need is a T Harness. No wires to cut ect.

Re: Shifter Bushings Upgrade (Great £30 upgrade)
The one disadvantage, and reason they are rubber out of the factory, is if you crunch the gears, the brass bushings are going to be less forgiving on the box. Perhaps I'm being thick but I do not understand why you think something outside the gear box will affect the internal outcome of hamfistedne...

Re: Shifter Bushings Upgrade (Great £30 upgrade)
So basically the rubber OEM bushings have a little bit of give to them. This leads to the slight feeling of resistance when you engage a gear and the slightly floaty feeling of the gear engagement. The brass bushings have no give whatsoever, leading to a far more 'connected' feel. I like to think of...

Shifter Bushings Upgrade (Great £30 upgrade)
Hi Guys, Just fitted a set of bass bushings to my BlueGT and it feels great! AwesomeGTI helped me choose the correct kit (turns out to be the same as a mkV Golf 5 speed!) http://www.awesomegti.com/car/vw/golfmk5/42-draft-vw-shifter-bushing-kit-mk5-5s-my06-07 Had this upgrade on my old GTI and both t...

Re: BlueGT Superchips Remap
Just spoke to BSR. Due to a new ECU the 6C blue GT is NOT compatible with the BSR remap. I believe this is also the case with superchips. Hello mate, Do you which chips are available for the 6C? Non at the moment as far as I can tell. No one has decoded the ECU. Tuners who claim to support it alway...
