Re: Newbee Polo 6c

Your car looks great :D Can't wait until I get my new Polo. It's on a ferry as we speak so it won't be long now, i hope :?

Where did you get those non-slip mats? I haven't seen those in any vw parts catalog.

Did you paint the brake calipers without removing them first? If so, was it easy? Think ...

I see, thanks for pointing that out!

Re: Sluggish performance

FYI the ECU's 'learn' and adapt to the way you drive... If you've been driving around like miss daisy since you got it, the ECU power band may have become more linear so you don't get that big wack of power you did before.

This will be my new excuse if I ever get pulled over by the police for ...

Re: Sourcing VW Polo mud flaps on-line

Thanks wolfie. Speed bumps are pretty much all over the place where I live and those long mud flaps would probably take a beating. Some of the "bumps" are design to slow down tanks... So I'm glad I found out from this thread that there's a shorter version :)

Re: Sourcing VW Polo mud flaps on-line

Does mounting these require drilling any holes in the metal panel, or just in the plastic liner/panel on the inside of the wheel house? Not very keen on poking holes in my car :?

Re: Bumper scuff.... Grrr

I'm like a magnet to these kinds of "accidents". I've had so much bad luck with people opening/smashing their doors into my car or scratching the sides with shopping carts and whatnot. Never once has has anyone left a note or tried to contact me... :(

Re: CBZC or CJZC?

Hello ciclo and thank you!

The most in-depth information I could get from my dealer was a brochure, so those links are golden :D

Now I just have to wait for the car to be built...
