if you going for 17's stick to the springs (a it wll be cheaper and b it won't affect the ride too much if the roads are bad)

i prefer the standard look.

vw sport supsension is fine just change the springs for the vw approved 25-30 mm drop as it will be needed if you go for the 17inch exor. ps they do look really nice with the votex kit and drop.

go fo the exors they really make the polo look smart.(although they are nasty to clean).

what you need is some stiffer suspension to stop the wheel rebounding into the arch and the tyre touchng the inside of the arch liner.

get some decent coilovers (h&r) you won't need to cut or roll the arches.

calvin, motors looking good, get some coilovers it will stop the scrubing and you can still drive hard without the wheel catching anywhere.

if you want 17's go for the exors they look the biz on the polo, personally tho i think 18's would look better and i wish i had got 18's instead of 17's, your right 17's are becoming too easy!

wai mark mines a black pearl effect with the full votex kit including roof spoiler and lowered by 25-30mil on the vag lowering springs running 17 inch exor wheels and it doesn't catch anywhere even over speed bumps once i can get my hands on my mates digi cam pics will be posted,

go for the kit, you won't be disappointed it will make the car look the biz.

the gti ones come colour coded.

the earlier gti's had a smaller drivers side window also which looks well smart.
