Momo alloys with tyres. Anthracite colour FOR SALE
Well I refurbed some Momo Arrows a couple of months ago in Anthracite and put them on my GTI for a little extra comfort due to the wife being pregnant but reverted back to the 16's now as the Mk5 Golf is the main family car. They are 15 x 6.5 ET40 4x100 with 57.1 VW spigot rings They come with 2 nea...

Re: Shark Fin Ariel
@Jeff - You were the only Mk7 Polo I have done which is why I asked you to check your connectors and you did not. Sorry the risk you took did not pay off, but I did try and help as much as I could. ---------------------------------------- Not trying to defend myself as I dont do this as a business a...

Re: Shark Fin Ariel
Dont come on this site often as I have a Lupo GTI so sorry for late replies. @dkny2789 - Will PM in a moment @JeffGTI - I cant get seperate plugs as I order batches for each shark fin from VW (all parts used per fin) and you had said you had modified it yourself to fit. I had asked for you to check ...

Re: VW MFD Navigation Installation ..... Help Needed
Yes, but may also need to attach a switched ignition feed too as the QUAD lock system uses a CAN_BUS to power up the stereo where ISO does not.

Re: VW MFD Navigation Installation ..... Help Needed
The old is called ISO and the new is the QUAD lock system. The MFD version D is for pre 2005 vehicles not yours, even if its the right shape. You would need to rewire/buy an adapter and supply the unit with a seperate ignition feed to turn on and off to work Page 63 http://www.armourauto.com/downloa...

Re: Shark Fin Ariel
Mine are £40 +£3 delivery. I convert them with OEM guts of a normal aerial and a few bits to tweek, as the ones direct from VW are not compatible as belong to the GOlf which work differently as they use the quadlock system not the ISO. Rear of the headliner has to be dropped to access the 22mm nut a...

Re: Loads of progress today - well chuffed
Sorry to hear about the aerial plug mate, as when I checked my mums Polo Dune (early 2007 model but latest shape) it had the purple connector not the black one like I normally do and the quadlock stereo plug not ISO ......guess there are differences within the range.

Re: BMC CDA's
I had one then sold it on due to insurance costs when I looked into it further, and in the end I drilled a few select 10mm holes at the back of the original airbox while also smoothing the interior of it also after some research and put a second cold air feed from the grill upto the holes to prevent...

Re: Mis-firing. Please help
There is a cheaper and identical one they sell.......same make etc etc for £36 as the guy found it on their system and said I could have that instead, which is what I got/paid 6 months ago. Fitting is really easy. Disconnect the battery and wait about 10min to discharge system, then unbolt the coil ...
