Yes, but may also need to attach a switched ignition feed too as the QUAD lock system uses a CAN_BUS to power up the stereo where ISO does not.

The old is called ISO and the new is the QUAD lock system. The MFD version D is for pre 2005 vehicles not yours, even if its the right shape. Sorry to hear about the aerial plug mate, as when I checked my mums Polo Dune (early 2007 model but latest shape) it had the purple connector not the black one like I normally do and the quadlock stereo plug not ISO ......guess there are differences within the range.
