sorry to hijack this thread but ive searched hi and low but cant find a short shifter its for a 01 1.4 8v 5 spd polo LHD any help would be aprichiated (sp?) ps it is sloppy in a 31 year old beatle there is less play (beleve me ive driven one) and its box is in the boot, so to speak!
