Oh ise? How do you find it? Heavy to run? How does it compare to some of your mates cars performance wise?
If you could find out the name of the company Id be very grateful...no worries if you cant!

i started out with tesco but after having to pay that sort of monies direct line was offering that no claims discount for named drivers so i went with them under dads name that took it to i think £1150 which was better now im paying like £750 f/comp so it aint too bad but :D its a real stinger living in london they think your loaded and can pay the earth for insurance.

as for petrol i use shell v.power which is a high octane fuel and it all depends how you drive the car. i can run for 2weeks on a full tank driving steady with a few muck abouts but i can eat a tank in a day if im on a mission :D.

I wouldnt go for a 106 anyway as they are higher insurance group and cheap build (as everyone says).
as for insurance...yep its a bit of a stinger. cheapest quote ive had is 1600 pound on my mothers name when I'm 18. And i live in a low level crime area :? . what insurance company where u with polo_gti21?
another question...what are these little machines like on fuel? heavy?
at the moment i drive a 1.3 turbo diesel corsa  lol...so anythings going to be heavy compared to it but sacrifices must be made for my gti :P.
thanks
mine averages at about 34 MPG, mixtue of motorway and normal driving, its not that bad considering its a GTi
