Alun, take the cover off the engine,
followed by the airbox, and you'll see it!!!
clean it out using a cloth, then start the car and get someone to rev it.
the butterfly will open, which is when you spray inside using carb cleaner
carb cleaners a bottle you can buy from halfords for bout £6.

Which i thought was not bad as all it had done to it was a Bmc with custom pipework.

And a full Powerflow Stainless steel system with a decat pipe

Mouse_GTI wrote:Hey guys, getting my car rolling roaded in a week for the first time, should be interesting to see how much it is putting out with just the BMC. Any preperations other than checking the BMC connections, tyres pumped up?

Remember to check all fluid levels and fill with V Power (Dunno if it makes much difference but i used it anyway)

And then post up results

I'm aiming for 126bhp, allowing one for the BMC. I will be disappointed if under 125 but the positive side of that means I know it should be faster ;)
