Turns out it was another lie, this time by a dealer principle who is now no longer in the employ of VGA :)

Mine was built as of last week! :) no delays here which is very suprising. Whats everybody had to wait for it to be shipped once built?

Wow, so in 2 months your car has been built. Thats great news, hopefully my order will have a similar timescale.

Ordered last week, been provisionally given a delivery date of the first week in December.

Mine was built on the 12 September. Now it goes into a black hole whilst being delivered to the UK. Been told 6 weeks from the build date to get to the UK and then maybe another one for delivery to me. :)

5dr. Mine has been made in South Africa! - Container ships don't go too fast :(

Ordered my 3dr GTI on the 19th September, have been told that the current build week is week 47 and should hopefully have it by Christmas!

Those Somali Pirates must have chased the containership with my car on all the way to the UK!!!!

It arrived at the dealership this morning :shock:

As long as the oil is warmed up to over 90 degrees, do give it a burst of acceleration to load up the piston rings to the cylinder wall. Driving it too gently will make your engine burn more oil down the road.

Yours made in South Africa??? I was told they are all made in SPAIN!!!
