Wow, so in 2 months your car has been built. Ordered last week, been provisionally given a delivery date of the first week in December.

Mine was built on the 12 September. Now it goes into a black hole whilst being delivered to the UK. Been told 6 weeks from the build date to get to the UK and then maybe another one for delivery to me.

Ordered my 3dr GTI on the 19th September, have been told that the current build week is week 47 and should hopefully have it by Christmas!

As long as the oil is warmed up to over 90 degrees, do give it a burst of acceleration to load up the piston rings to the cylinder wall. Driving it too gently will make your engine burn more oil down the road.Hurdy wrote:Collected the car this morning.
