POLO 6R. Front brake pads and discs installed.
A good video tutorial:

Note:
Before pressing the piston back into the cylinder with a piston resetting tool (e.g, prying with screwdriver), draw off brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir. Otherwise, especially if the reservoir has been topped up, fluid will overflow and cause damage.
I had to remove 60 ml of brake fluid because the brake fluid was changed and set to max level at a VW dealership years ago when the brake pads were only half worn.

I'll be replacing the brake fluid in a few days...
Installation. Highlights.
Caution! New ATE brake discs have a protective coating that must be worn down by the pads during the first few kilometers. Once this coating is worn down, braking performance will improve. The new
ATE ceramic brake pads then leave a
transfer layer on the disc for proper operation.
I took the used parts to the recycling point, but this time I did a longer test drive to properly bed in the front and rear brake pads and discs, transfer layers, etc. Naturally, the improvement is total in terms of braking, and especially in the new behavior of the rear shock absorbers. Now, cornering in roundabouts and tight turns feels like a brand new car. The handling is also excellent in normal or sporty driving on any type of road, without sacrificing comfort.
On one of the next summer days I will be replacing the brake and clutch fluid to complete the unscheduled tasks.
