Re: Intake kit options

Leyo version looks interesting to me and it is made specifically for Polo and Tiguan. But can't say anything else since I don't own it.

Re: Place the part

It might be something they should remove in pre-delivery inspection. I saw the procedure somewhere in erWin but probably didn't save it localy and I don't have erWin access anymore.

Re: 2022 GTI - Soundaktor still?

through speaker? That would be great change ... :D in sport it rattle like crazy over 4K rpm but eco and normal is fine. :) Personally I use eco in summer since I drive with window down but in winter it makes me a bit nervous to barely hear engine so I use normal. :D

3 years, 48000km and still all brakes from factory ... noises stopped like 5000-10000 km ago. No idea why :D ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Soundaktor - Module unit from S3/R/Golf

As far as I know the soundaktor is fancy way to call speaker in world of VAG. Again I might be wrong but it should only introduce vibration into windshield and use it as big "speaker". So I don't think it have anything saved in it.

Re: Intake valve cleaning

Whether or not the GTI / GTI+ continued to have port injection when it became WLTP compliant was discussed back in early 2019 in the ‘New GTI+ and delivery’ discussion thread. Check out the pictures that were posted by forum members @monkeyhanger and @peter007 on page 120 of that discussion thread ...

Re: Interior mods/QOL accessories

I have USB-C slots and I have been using a 32GB sandisk memory stick. This does work but sometimes when getting back in the car it doesn't continue where it left off and jumps back to the first track on the stick. I had the same issue in my old golf with a USB stick but the memory card was faultles...

Re: I've stopped servicing my car at the authorized service center - here's why

The 2.0Tsi is/was the same. Whether VAG have fixed this issue or not, god knows. I was just pointing out that, historically, they don't give a damn and your oil consumption has to be horrific before they will do anything. Some 1.8 and 2.0 TSI was later fixed under warranty. VW replaced conrods + pi...
