o really, do i ned 2 take anythin else off before the bumper comes off? like the lights or grille?
and wher are the bolts an screws which hold the bumper on? i dont wana think ive undone them all and end up damaging something lol.
At least, you have to take the upper and lower-side grills off ...

Sorry for asking this, I'm portuguese, so I don't understand all the words. What do you mean by creaking? Making somekind of noise?

If it's that, my car is doing the same, but only when it's cold, after driving it for a while it stops. I went to VW and they told me there's no clutch cable on Polos ...

As far as I know, they really aren't supposed to fit on Polos. I wanted to that mod once, but someone told me they wouldn't really fit.

I didn't change mine yet because of that! :?

As far as I know you have 2 choices:

- Get the front bumper off and get the grill off from the inside, because it has some kind of hooks that stick it to the bumper.

Or,

- Use a stong wire, get it to pass around those hooks, and break them using the ...

Aftermarket bushings - Anyone changed them? Help!

Hi,

Has anyone changed the OEM bushings for some aftermaket ones?

What brands did you buy?

I tried to search for PowerFlex bushings but they have almost no complete sets for MKV Polo's.
Energy Suspension, has no material for Polo's. :?

Then I found that Bonrath has a complete set for Polo MKV ...

Hi,

I advise you to get a microfiber cloth and Laquer's All Purpose Cleaner. That's what I use on my car and the result is excellent.

Hi,

Today I was trying to fit the gti grilles to my car. I was able to fit the upper center grill and the little ones on the sides of the bumper (not difficult :lol: ), but I couldn't get the lower center one off :? Is it necessary to remove the bumper to get it off, or is there any other way to do ...

It looks it. I'd say you'd need to change the plastic ring at the bottom of the gaitor but other than that it looks nearly identical. I suppose the shaft diameter may be differant though...

If I replace that plastic ring with the one from the old gaitor, it should do, wouldn't it?
