As master ciclo suggested i aquirred a set of stalks with g85 slip ring 6R.
I will be making a loom using CCS retrofit schematics.

Only note, the electronic part store said 1N4001 -> 1N4007

Btw. there were two boxes full of 6Q stalks with CCS πŸ˜‚. And only three of 6R stalks, i had to return one ( didnt notice broken clips)...

yea and no .35 thick wire... only .5. But we will make it work.

Next biggest task run the wire from ECU ( CAY pin 64) thru the firewall ( gromet where the bonet cable runs thru)

😎
- 0.5mm thick wire is fine; it will transmit signals just as well as 0.35mm.
- The diode is not necessary. No one reported any problems with the PQ25 wiring harnesses purchased on Aliexpress without a diode.

Common installation errors, tips:
- The most important part is the ECU connector. Using ETKA, look for images online to see how to carefully remove the pink contact locking mechanism before inserting the contact terminal.
- Also, take a close look at how to insert the contact terminal and its locking tab into the ECU connector, there is only one way to insert it properly. (N12/S18/E15/W21... πŸ˜„)
This will avoid unnecessary and difficult fights later on...

Thank you,
I've been looking elsa a bit, the diagrams... and regarding the topic:
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/diy-do-y ... ntrol.html

There is a difference in schematic for IND- polo (i guess) and EU

T41 pin 28->branches to SB11 and BCM 73A pin 44

While team bhp topic
T41 pin 28 just goes straight to SB11

on this topic ciclo points out, and also mentions the pull tab on ecu connector.

Someone might find it useful

Basically, it's the same for European and Indian 6Rs. The CCS positive/power signal is taken from the +15 fuse bar in the fuse box.
Depending on the construction characteristics of the model (European 6R vs Indian 6R), it is taken from one fuse or the other (SB10 vs SB11).

6R Europe.

2015 was a year of trends and learning from 6Rs from other parts of the world. A BIG hug to Gannu_1 and all the Indians I've met over the past few years, their enthusiasm always enlightened me.😊
Wonderful people in all parts of the world!

Guys u have a big problem.
I cant get my ecu connector back on. It looks like the seal is too large. If i remove it it seats. Fuuu

@ciclo
73A- 44 pin present skip it ? like on indian version?

Edit: Ecu connector seated. Just the wire 44 i think its ok to leave it isolated well

Don't get confused:
- Your SB11 fuse feeds other systems/devices (E102, V48, V49).
- You must add the wire for E45 to a positive +15 signal.
- You don't necessarily have to add the wire by splicing it into the existing wire. There may be another free +15 slot in the fuse box.
If you want/need, take a photo of your fusebox and I'll tell you where.

I hope the following diagrams will make it clear:
Image

On the other hand:
If the ECU connector fit properly before inserting the new CCS terminal, it should fit just as well now.
If the new contact terminal is fully seated, what could be wrong?
- The pink/purple terminal locking mechanism is not fully seated/full way or is 180ΒΊ...
- The seal is stretched. Apply a very small amount of liquid/ointment to the outer edge of the seal to help it slide smoothly... from a certain age, a little help is necessary. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€

Big problem?

The issue was the seal was streched af. loose as Mia Khalifa. The small connector seal was tight.

It went smooth without seal. I got it in the end first from the bottom... somehow (seal is on). All assembled except the SB fuse power i was to drained(tired)... the ecu connector got me. Tried to put it back like 30 times. Forcing to much no no that lever would break.

Board computer works ok.

One thing i dont like i can hear the g85 like plastic on plastic sound grinding.

I think i will use a add a circuit fuse. ( that extender thingy) The to many wires to splice into them not sure how the fuse box will fit ( i did take it off but returned it..)

Counted like 9 times to make sure it 64 (9-th pin from the start)

I put extra heatshring over the wire, and zip tied everything.
The ecu part was simple, just the connector seal was awful and took the most time.

Sorry, can you confirm what im thinking.

I have made a loom like this.
T41 ( pin 28) splits to SB11 and to BCM 73A pin (44).
Since the connector 73A allready had pin 44 populated.
I just isolated my pin 73A (44) in my loom, and will be conecting just the SB11 part and ofc t41-28 i inserted.

I guess second-hand parts have those little noises... the G85 also has some ointment inside. πŸ˜„
Exciting red pushbuttons on the dashboard buttons...🏎 😁

They were for board computer. Simple ground signal

I will disconect the radio soon (danger to manifold  ), and see if it solves the comm problem. didnt have the time today

Thank you for the support

If you still have questions, look at the diagram I posted earlier.
T41/28 --> +15 signal (fuse box).

No, that terminal is SPT (standard power timer), and you need a JPT (junior power timer).
JPT: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51f ... L1500_.jpg

Use slot 12 and install a 5A fuse.

Here we have it
πŸŽ‰πŸ€Œ

id say the 6Q stalks are a bit more ergonomical because they sit closer to the steering wheel. And these are softer sounding, no loud click then turn signal cancels.

I take back what i said for ergonomy had my high beam on rolf.
Actually they are kind of nice. And all buttons work 8)
