As you know, a few weeks ago, I replaced the fuel filter. This wonderful morning, I added a bottle of Liqui Moly 2522 (Injection Reiniger) right before fueling up.

Since the TSI engines are Direct Injection, I wanted to clarify why I’m using it and what to expect:
-What it will do: It cleans the fuel lines, tank, high-pressure pump, and the tips of the injectors to maintain a good spray pattern and prevent corrosion.
-What it won't do: Since it lacks PEA (Polyetheramine), it won't clean the carbon buildup on the intake valves or deep inside the combustion chamber, as the fuel never touches the back of the valves.
My plan is to run this tank completely, and then switch to Liqui Moly 21281 (Pro-Line Direct Injection Cleaner).
In the next 5,900 km I'll perform a deeper clean... along with the oil change, I will use Liqui Moly 2427 (Pro-Line Engine Flush) to clean out any oil sludge from the crankcase, and I'll switch to Liqui Moly 21281 for proper TSI carbon descaling...
