Well after ordering my Reef Blue Polo GTI+ on the 22nd of February I am booked in to collect it on Friday! The long wait is almost over. Apologies in advance if I spam the forum with photo's after I've collected it....

Might car is due to arrive at the dealers today so i've been told! Just need to sort a collection date now! The end is near....

The actual '5th wheel' one is supplied with needs clearing up to be sure. But any spare wheel is worth it's weight in gold if you find yourself as I did once in the middle of nowhere, 25 miles from civilisation, no mobile fone signal and you get a puncture. You fix it but then get another :shock: ....

Yep mine was BW23 also.

I have a screenshot of the application my dealer uses to track my car. It has all the info about the car including the VIN number, engine number and model year version etc etc. It also has boxes for each stage the car goes through with the dates filled in when it hits each stage. My order moved to in transit this morning finally! Now for the long boat ride....

I imagine the dealers would just pre-register them if they weren't sold before September. Which will in turn make them a little bit cheaper but don't think the prices would be crazy cheap.

Finally got through to live chat after a few days of trying. Mine started being built on the 28th! Finally something is happening. They said it usually takes about a week to build. How does the 28th (BW32?) of actual build start compare with build week expected on the tracker or what the dealer/VW ...

The only other thing I can think of is I refuelled last with standard unleaded fuel as the pump I was at didn't have anything else available. I think the cap says to use super unleaded 95. Could this be effecting it? No standard 95 RON will be fine. You have a 3 year warranty on the car so it shoul...
