Hey All, Yes a Lupo GTi should definiately fit as the Lupo Uses the same engine as the Polo GTi.

Look here at my installation nearly seven months ago now.

Well thats a first, my GTi has been good since the clutch problem last year but yeah haven't had any problems with it since. So hopefully you shouldn't have a problem with it now. :)

I had this problem too, when my clutch was replaced VW tripped up yet again and didn't route the fan wires in the right place. They left it lose, so when the fan is on it cuts through its self making it sever the power to it. Then it over heats. I got a big sorry for this routine but they fixed it. ...

Its worth asking them to check them for you, but don't make them tell you your wrong as you have seen the evidence here and Josh was gathering data to go back to VW them selfs. The problem shouldn't happen again, as they use new parts which was made later and don't have the same fault as the origina...

Hey chap,

I had the same problem to, my gear box was rocking when I accelerated and eased off.

But my car went in for a service and "they had tightened up the gear box mounts" I was told. Not very helpful.

But now engaging reverse seems to be easier now no more crunching.
