Re: What MPG do you actually get from your 1.2 TSI 105??
I get 38mpg out of my 1.2 TSI R-Line - it hates being driven at 70mph. I'm in the process of replacing it for a Diesel Golf.

Polo 6C GTI/R-Line/R
Hey guys,
Anyone got any idea when these are gonna be released? Instinct tells me we should see them at the Paris Motor Show on the 2nd of October with first orders being taken in Late Dec/Early January. I'm wondering as I'm tempted to change my R Line to an R when it comes out
Cheers,
Phil

Re: Pressed plates
Should be able to enable anything I have bar the LED DRL stuff. The cluster is the same on all polos bar the BlueGT and the GTI which have the MFD cluster, which allows you to customise more stuff from the menu. It also contains more information than the standard cluster such as litres until empty a...

The Ibiza FR edition and some of the Leon range have it. It's a 1.4 TSI ACT - the fabia green line has this option too if I remember rightly

Re: Polo GTI 1.4 TSI ('11 Plate) Rattles when Turbo Kicks in
I had a turbo rattle on my 1.2 tsi, left it into the dealer and they told me VW have written guidance on it, it apparently can't cause anything to fail so they won't fix it, it's within the fault tolerance for the turbo

Probably just 'don't rake the balls out of it until you've done around 8k'
For some turbo engines they recommend not going over 3k rpm in the first 20 mins of running

My pressed plates are reflective
As for VCDS, I enabled coming home, needle sweep, LED DRL off when indicator active, anti hijack, unlock when key pulled from ignition

Re: Pressed plates
I have pressed plates on my R Line:
Never been stopped or even questioned (touch wood) - they set the polo off really well.

Re: Life signed away this afternoon :)
When I ordered by R Line, I was build week 9, and took delivery on 21st March :) VW's order tracker is pure trash - you should just hassle your salesman/sales manager to send you screenshots from VW's ordering system - it gives you information such as port, ship, current status etc. I got notificati...

Re: First Car - New Polo - Thoughts
The 1.2 TSI 105BHP I have in my R Line is so sharp, and it feels very fast - it also returns 52-57mpg on a good run!

Use fog lights for cornering, rather than sidelights?
Hi,
Is it possible to use fog lights for cornering lights rather than the sidelights? (I have the Xenon kit fitted)
It appears to use lights where the sidelights would normally be, but when these come on, it destroys the Xenon beam colour by staining it yellow, is it possible to use the fog lights?

Dim LEDs on Indicator Active?
Hi guys, I have a 2014 Polo R Line with the Xenon Headlights and LED DRLs. I'm just wondering is it possible (through VCDS) to long code the LEDs to dim on the side which the indicator is flashing? I think there was some stuff on this for older models but I haven't seen any of the settings (dim % et...

Yeah man, it's lowered on the VW Motorsport lowering kitJayW wrote:Very nice mate, is it lowered on eibachs? Looks quite low.
More than happy with it so far, it's so solid round corners and it's pretty quick!
