They have the interior quality pretty close to the real deal too.

Yes and easily, takes a little more effort the first time you unscrew it but it does. Solid threads.

Re: New Pricelist, Effective 01/05/2020
It’s such a shame that as technically clever as the petrol engine is, when I drove a colleagues car it didn’t feel at all sporty for a 2.0 engine. Nothing happened until 3000 r pm and then all over just after 5000 and despite a linear power delivery it felt flat and lacking in urgency even compared...

Re: New Pricelist, Effective 01/05/2020
Been looking at the Mazda 3. Fully specced got an offer back for £23,500 (including 4300 off for carwow). Nice looking car with an awesome interior. Im also kind of tired of VW's perpetual cost cutting while upping prices. This whole Dieselgate and trying to claw the money back through again consum...

Re: New Pricelist, Effective 01/05/2020
Oh hell no, looking at the new 2.0 petrol, compression combustion at low revs like a diesel. Spark plug and lower compression at higher revs. Torque low down and very free 7k rpm, also naturally aspirated so probably last longer.

Why does the Polo GTI have a 6 speed DSG?
I've always wondered this. Why does the Polo GTI have a 6 speed DSG? Is it one of these two things?
1) It's too expensive
2) It wouldn't fit
Would you expect the facelift Polo GTI in 2021-2022 to have the 7 speed DSG?

Driven with oil cap off, please advise
Hi all, My car is a 2018 1.0 95HP Polo SE I did something stupid and when re filling my oil I forgot to put the oil cap back on (very stupid). After driving for a while I noticed a horrible smell. After opening up the bonnet (hood) I discovered oil had splattered not everywhere but within the vicini...

Re: Coolant and oil levels
Over the last few years I’ve owned an Audi A1 1.4 COD, Polo 6C GTI and now a Polo GTI+. First two cars I had for 3 years each and didn’t need any fluid tops up of any kind between services. The Audi was supplied with an oil top up bottle but I never had to use it. Neither GTI were supplied with oil...

Re: Rear seats
quite useful photos for doing some more soundproofing. I find that most of the noise comes from the back of the car being a cheaper hatchback. The boot area is usually lightly soundproofed

Re: Knocking noise at 1000 RPM in neutral
Umm yeah, all is going well, there are some niggles in the car. Small things like both side air vents buzz/rattle on rough surfaces and the clicking of the wipers every time the move intermittently when on auto is annoying and the three pot engine doesn't do well with the long gearing (Especially be...

Re: Knocking noise at 1000 RPM in neutral
Surely, your Polo's still under warranty, Stop asking in the forum, take it back to the dealer, it's their problem. With all due respect, I know quite a few people have mentioned this, but is there really a need for the aggressive response. we are here to answer questions if we can and suggest the ...

Re: Upgrading standard cruise to ACC
Whether the brake lights come on or not is part of regulation that takes into account by how much you car decelerates, with the fact that it can stop you in traffic (with auto) and follow pretty accurately I'd imagine they would.
