you don't want to lower the car so that the front wishbones are inverted, this creates bump steer, which many people who are 'slammed' mistake for good handling.

Bump Steer has nothing to do with the Angle of the Wishbones,

it all relates to the angle of the steering arms

If you drop the ...

why need to fabricate one?

just buy one off the shelf?!

I have only ever been able to find a replacement (thicker) front ARB for the 6n/2, which would only increase understeer.

The H&R "kit" for the 6n is only a front bar (even though two bars may be pictured), if you have any info on an off ...

Im getting sick of the understeer.

Yes, I really think the handling would benefit from adding a rear anti-roll bar to the chassis, to dial out the understeer.

I have had discussions with my local VW specialist , who have offered to fabricate one, as they often make them for modified ...

They look ace. Are you just upgrading the fronts?

Do the GTI brakes as standard honestly need upgraded or are they totally fine as they are? If so, i take it this is for the pimp factor?? 8)

No at all. Standard GTi brakes are crap. The upgrade improves braking greatly, just the way it should of ...

The Polo GTI is about the same as the 1.8T Mk4 Golf's and will beat most Mk4 GTI's!. It won't beat the anniversary or the Mk5

polo Gti nearly as quick as golf gti 1.8t

you wish!
Check the specs on p1. Golf is 8.2, Polo is 8.4. Not exactly a huge difference

LOL

they arnt WIRED for LHD,

they are MADE for Lhd

thats why the clear section is on the right and the red section on the left

all you do is put a red buld in the right hand side

and smash out the red filter on the left hand side

easy

no need to do any wiring at all

I would of thought not as the 6n 16v is different to the 6n2 16v. The 1.6 16v fitted to foreign spec 6n's is a different engine and produces 120bhp instead of the 6n2's 125bhp. Though i couldn't tell you the differance. I do know it uses a different clutch though...
